Welcome Centers serve as a one-stop shop for newcomers—a place where families can walk in the door and access services and support they need. The Welcome Center strives to provide services that result in long-term self-sufficiency for every client served and does this by providing robust and culturally inclusive programming. The San Antonio Welcome Center provides protection-centered, trauma-informed case management, and connections to essential community resources.
Our work touches the lives of refugees and immigrants in San Antonio, helping them find meaningful careers and welcoming communities. Accompanying New Americans on their journey is part of what we call “the long welcome.”
