Hope for the Holidays
Advocate for New American families
Join us in advocating for refugees and other immigrants this holiday season!
This year, thousands of immigrant children and families are left without the resources they need and anxious about their futures in the United States.
Global Refuge is proud to continue our Hope for the Holidays™ program this year—with a few changes. Unfortunately, due to new policies, we are no longer able to send cards to those in immigration detention.
But we still need your help. This year, we are focusing instead on advocating for our refugee and other immigrant neighbors. Rather than writing holiday cards, we are asking you to send postcards to your local, state, and national lawmakers advocating for just, humane, and dignified refugee and immigration policy.
Sign up to get a pack of postcards sent to you at no cost, then download the updated Hope for the Holidays™ toolkit to find examples of messages to send to your elected officials.
Hope looks different this year, but it’s more important than ever. Join us in standing with your refugee and other immigrant neighbors.
Once you’ve filled out your advocacy cards using the Hope for the Holidays™ toolkit, submit your electronic coversheet to receive information on where to send your cards. And be sure to share about Hope for the Holidays™ with friends and family on social media!
We also are proud to offer new Global Refuge greeting cards, which allow you to share the work of welcome with family and friends when sending out your usual holiday cards. All proceeds benefit Global Refuge.
Can’t make it to the mailbox but still want to share a message of hope? Check out our new online submission form!
Your gift can make a difference this holiday season in supporting this program and so many others as we seek to build a more welcoming world.
You can change lives.
