Global Refuge Urges Congress to Support Refugees and the States and Local Communities That Welcome Them

Global Refuge sent a letter to House and Senate Leadership urging them to stand with newcomers and local communities that support them by supporting a $1.56 billion request for the Refugee and Entrant Assistance (REA) account within Labor and Health and Human Services (LHHS) appropriations on the upcoming continuing resolution package that will fund the government into the 2025 calendar year.  This funding amount was requested in the President’s FY 2025 continuing resolution anomaly request to Congress.
